Across the river lies the city of Metropolis - home of Superman!  In the summer they have a Superman festival, there's a museum, the city paper is The Planet and wall  murals around the town.  The big draw is the 15' tall statue of Superman - which is a great photo op - and the recently added was the Lois Lane statue. In the gift shop they sell anything & everything Superman. My favorite was the kryptonite - green painted rock!
